These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website at http://www.bijouxkl.co.uk/  By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms, please refrain from using this website.

 

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Simply add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. Here you can either continue shopping or proceed to the checkout.

 

We accept all major credit and debit cards e.g. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Switch

 

 

If you have a Paypal account we also accept payment via our secure online Paypal service.

 

Please Note:

(1) Out of stock items will be refunded if an alternative option (detailed in the "Back Orders" section below)  is not acceptable

(2) You may order via phone or email.

 

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

 

There may be small variations in size and colour of items. This is normal and is in the nature of the products.

Bijoux KL Boutique's Vintage Collection of handbags are vintage inspired new bags that capture the epoch of the 1920's.

 

Care of Jewellery

Please maintain the condition of your jewellery by removing when bathing, swimming or undertaking manual or domestic work. Please also avoid contact with perfumes and body lotions.

 

Shipping And Handling

We try to ensure that orders are expedited as quickly as possible and delivered by Special Delivery. Postage and packaging is charged at the rate of £5.50 with variable handeling charges depending on the country the parcel is being delivered to. Allow 5-7 days for goods to arrive unless you are specifically notified by Bijoux KL that an item will take longer to arrive or you are ordering an item which is listed with an "estimated delivery time" in the product description panel (see "Order Times" for further details).

 

If you are shopping from outside the UK, please ensure you select the correct country for shipping and handling costs to be calculated accurately.

 

Details of postage and delivery charges are automatically calculated and shown at the ordering process when the correct country is selected.

 

All orders are sent by Special Delivery and can be delivered to either business or residential addresses. All items are tracked and insured - please contact Bijoux KL by email and we will advise you of your order status accordingly.

 

Special Delivery requires a signature upon delivery. If the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery, the Royal Mail should leave a notification card with their contact information. Bijoux KL takes no responsibility if a notification card is not left for any reason.

 

For deliveries ouside of the UK if the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery, our dispatch company should leave a notification card with their contact information. Bijoux KL takes no responsibility if a notification card is not left for any reason.

 

 

Customs & Duty

All shipments outside the UK may be subject to import duties and sales taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. As we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, charges for customs clearance must be borne by you.

 

Delivery Schedule

We will do our best to make sure you get your order as soon as possible, but please allow 7 -10 days for delivery. If there is likely to be a delay beyond 10 days we will tell you either by email or telephone call.

 

Back Orders

If your item is no longer in stock, we will contact you with the option to either wait for a duplicate to be made/ordered if possible, choose an alternative or cancel the item and offer a refund

Privacy Policy

The only personal information Bijoux KL will store securely are details of the purchasers name, address, phone number and email, which will be used when sending orders, dealing with queries and sending details of Bijoux KL's new lines / sale items / promotions.

 

Bijoux KL will provide duplicate copies of transaction details made through the Bijoux KL Boutique website upon request in writing via post or email. Requests must be made and will only be sent to the person who actually paid for the item(s). When requesting a duplicate copy of the transaction details you must provide details of your name, address, order number (if your order number is available) and details of the item(s) purchased.

  

Bijoux KL's electronic data is protected by a firewall and hard copies of customer information is stored in a secure unit. Bijoux KL do not store details of purchasers financial details as all transactions go through our totally secure only payment facility - Paypal.

  

If there are any inaccuracies in your details please let us know via email so we can alter our records accordingly.

  

Bijoux KL do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cancellation of an Order Prior to Dispatch

Under the Consumer Protection (distance selling) Regulations 2000, you have a statutory right (exercisable up to and including the seventh working day after the day of delivery), to cancel your order for any reason and receive a full refund.

 

We may cancel an order for any item at any time before dispatch. You will be informed by email or telephone if we are unable to complete your order, and your money will be fully refunded.

 

Returns Policy regarding items purchased Online

If you receive a faulty product, you have a total of 14 days from date of invoice to return it to us and we will happily exchange it or a give you a full refund.

If the product you receive is incorrect, you have a total of 14 days from the date of having received your purchase to return it to us and we will happily exchange it or give you a full refund.

If your product is damaged in transit to you we will replace it at no extra cost. Please inform us of breakages immediately.

There are no returns on any sale item bought through www.bijouxkl.co.uk.

If you have purchased an item that is not to your liking you are entitled a "7 day cooling period", which means that we will need to receive the purchase(s) within 7 working days to enable us to give you a refund of the cost of the order less postage and packaging. If we receive it later than 7 working days from the date when you first received your product we will only be able to offer you an exchange (equal to the value of your initial purchase(s)). To qualify for exchange you must return purchase(s) to be received by us within 28 days of you having received your purchase(s).

 

If you have purchased an item that is not to your liking and you are located outside of the UK you must advise us of your intention to return the item(s) within 7 days from receipt of goods. You then have 7 days to initiate the return the item(s) to us via special delivery at your own cost. We require proof of dispatch of the returned item(s) by being provided with a tracking number within this 7 day period. If you do not initiate the return of the unwanted item(s) within this 7 day period you will not be eligable for a refund but will be offered an exchange (equal to the value of your initial purchase(s)). To qualify for an exchange you must return the purchase(s) to be received by us within 28 days of you having received your purchase(s). 

 

If you place an order and then decide you do not want it straight away, please telephone us as soon as possible on 078 185 669 39. Providing the order has not been despatched, you will receive a full refund otherwise the above conditions apply.

Please note ALL Goods must be returned unused and with their security tags in place and accompanied with proof of purchase for the above Returns Policy to apply. If the security tags have been removed or tampered with in any way no exchange or refund will be given. Any goods lost in transit being returned to Bijoux KL will not be refunded. Buyers must pay for the postage of the returned good(s).

 

All goods dispatched will be accompanied by a returns form. When returning goods fully complete the returns form detailing the reason for the return and provide a phone number in case we need to contact you in this regard.

 

If you are eligible for a refund please allow 30 days after returning your items to receive the refund.

 

Pierced earrings will not be refunded or replaced due to hygine policies.

 

Order Times

Please note that order times listed next to certain items are an estimate. On rare occasions due to unexpected anomolies some orders may take longer than estimated. If this occurs you will be informed of the extended time expected to receive your goods and asked whether you are happy to wait for the said item,  require a refund or wish to select a different piece of jewellery / accessory from the website.

 

Competitions

At the close of the competition date a lucky winner will be selected at random and informed via email / telephone. The winner of the Lara Bohinc competition will be informed up to one week after the closing date of the competition and will be invoiced at the special 30% discounted rate for the Lara Bohinc Lunar Eclipse Handbag.

 

Recommendations

Whilst Bijoux KL may recommend other businesses on the boutique website www.bijouxkl.co.uk we take no responsibility for any dispute you may have against the recommended company and as such are not accountable or liable in any respect.
